EUROPE TOUR SCHEDULE (HIGH SEASON)

 

DAY 01 (SUNDAY) : Rome

Welcome to Rome! Upon your arrival, we'll be there to transfer you to your hotel. Later, our guide will meet you and provide all the essential information. You can also find details on the information sign in the hotel reception area. In the evening, we'll take you to Via Cavour, an excellent introduction to Rome. Here, you'll find a variety of restaurants offering Italian, Indian, Chinese, and international cuisine.

 

DAY 02 MONDAY : Rome

In the morning, we'll take a three-hour guided tour of the Eternal City, combining a walking tour through Imperial Rome with a panoramic bus ride to admire one of the oldest and most influential cities in Western civilization. During the tour, we'll see iconic landmarks such as the Arch of Constantine, the exterior of the Colosseum and the Imperial Forums, the Circus Maximus, the Baths of Caracalla, the Basilica of Saint Mary Major, the Pyramid of Cestius, and Castel Sant'Angelo. The tour will end at VATICAN CITY around 11:00 a.m. Afterward, our guide will offer an optional visit to explore the Vatican Museums and the Sistine Chapel. At the end of the day, we'll include a transfer to the popular Trastevere neighborhood, known for its cozy restaurants and lively atmosphere. Return to the hotel will be around 8:30 p.m.

 

DAY 03 TUESDAY : Rome - Florence

Today, we'll leave Rome and head north, taking in the beautiful landscapes along the way. Upon reaching Florence, we'll go directly to the stunning Piazzale Michelangelo for breathtaking views of the city. We will then walk toward the historic center where, after some time for lunch, we'll enjoy a guided walking tour with a local expert through the historic center, visiting landmarks such as the Ponte Vecchio, the Duomo, and Piazza della Signoria. This city is like an open-air museum. Afterward, you´ll have some free time to explore at your leisure. In the evening, you'll have plenty of options for dinner, as this district offers many restaurants with a variety of international cuisines.

 

DAY 04 WEDNESDAY : Florence - Venice 

Today, we'll enjoy the stunning mountain landscapes as we cross the Apennines. Upon arriving in Venice, we'll take a boat across the Giudecca Canal to the Island of Venice. With a local guide, we'll visit the marvelous St. Mark's Square. Afterwards, we'll tour the Murano Glass Factory, where you'll see the fascinating techniques used to create this ancient glass. You´ll have some free time to explore on your own. Accommodation will be in the Mestre district.

 

DAY 05 THURSDAY : Venice - Innsbruck - Salzburg

We will depart from Venice, traveling to Austria! Upon arriving in Innsbruck, you'll have time to stroll through the historic city center and enjoy lunch in the Austrian Tyrolean capital. Afterward, we'll journey along beautiful scenic roads through the mountains to Kitzbühel. Once there, you'll have time to explore this picturesque village, a famous ski resort where snow can be enjoyed for most of the year. We'll continue our journey to Salzburg, arriving by the end of the day.

Note: If there are few travelers, we may take a train from Venice to Innsbruck.

 

DAY 06 FRIDAY : Salzburg - Lake Traunsee - Vienna

Today, we'll get to know Austria better. During the morning, we´ll explore Salzburg, Mozart's city. Its Renaissance and Baroque center is filled with beauty, all in the shadow of the grand castle. Next, we’ll travel through lakes and mountains to reach St. Wolfgang, a renowned pilgrimage site in Austria. We'll then head to Traunkirchen, located beside the beautiful Traunsee Lake, where we'll take an included cruise to see four of the lake´s castles before disembarking in Gmunden. Afterward, we'll continue to Vienna, arriving in the evening.

 

DAY 07 SATURDAY : Vienna

Today, we'll embark on a panoramic tour of this impressive city with a local guide. We'll explore its majestic avenues, beautiful palaces, large parks and vibrant city center. In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore on your own. In the evening, we'll include a transfer to the Grinzing district, an old wine-growing village now part of the city, known for its traditional taverns. You'll have free time to dine in the area. 

 

DAY 08 SUNDAY : Vienna - Budapest

After about three hours of travel, we'll arrive in Budapest, the capital of Hungary. Our first stop will be the lively area of Váci utca, where you'll have free time for lunch. After, we'll kick off our exploration of Budapest with an included boat trip on the Danube River, with historic Buda on one bank and cosmopolitan Pest on the other. The views are unbeatable. Following this, we'll begin a panoramic tour of the so-called ¨Queen of the Danube.¨ You'll have some free time afterwards. In the evening, we'll offer an optional outing to a Magyar show, with dinner included.

 

DAY 09 MONDAY : Budapest - Bratislava - Prague

We will leave Budapest early and head for Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, a charming city along the Danube with an attractive historic center. You´ll have time to explore and enjoy lunch. After, we'll continue our journey to the Czech Republic, arriving in Prague in the evening. We'll provide a transfer to the Old Town Square, a central spot that offers a fantastic introduction to Prague with its vibrant atmosphere and numerous tourist activities. You can have dinner at one of the many restaurants offering a variety of international cuisines, including Czech, Chinese, Indian, and Italian. Afterward, we'll return to the hotel.

 

DAY 10 TUESDAY. Prague

Today, we'll visit the capital, Prague, the Baroque jewel of Europe. Our local tour guide will lead an informative panoramic tour, highlighting the city's most outstanding monuments. During the tour, there will be a visit to Prague Castle (admission included). After that, enjoy a boat ride on the Vltava River (included). In the afternoon, you'll have free time to explore the city on your own.

 

DAY 11 WEDNESDAY : Prague - Pilsen - Rothenberg - Frankfurt

We'll depart early from PRAGUE and stop in PILSEN, in western Bohemia, a city renowned for its beer. You'll have time to stroll through its historic center, where you'll find the Old Town Square, the cathedral, the Plague Column, and a Renaissance-era town hall. We'll then cross into GERMANY and follow part of the Romantic Road. We'll visit ROTHENBURG, a town that seems to come straight out of a fairy tale and is considered one of the most beautiful villages in the country. Afterward, we'll head to FRANKFURT, the financial capital of Germany. After our arrival in the evening, enjoy free time in the historic city center, where you'll find a wide variety of restaurants offering Indian, Asian, Italian, and international cuisines.

 

DAY 12 THURSDAY : Frankfurt

After breakfast, our journey will come to an end, leaving you with wonderful lasting memories.

  • Any Increase in the rate of exchange leading to an increase in all land arrangements which may come in to effect prior to departure.
  • Cost of pre or post tour hotel accommodation.
  • Any extra expense such as route change, Airline change, Date change, Accommodation facilities, etc incurred due to the unforeseen, unavoidable forced majeuere circumstances during the tour.
  • Porterage, laundry, telephone charges, shopping, wines & alcoholic beverages, items of personal nature and food or drink which is not part of a set group menu.
  • Any extra cost incurred on behalf of an individual due to illness, accident, hospitalization, or any personal emergency.
  • Any services or activity charges other than those included in the group tour itinerary.
  • In case a passenger is opting for direct joining, the cost for airport transfers shall be borne directly by the passenger and will join the group at the hotel.

Payment Terms

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.
  • The balance payment must be completed before the due date communicated by GD Holidays.
  • For bookings involving flights, cruises, visas, special events or peak season travel, higher advance payment or full payment may be required at the time of booking.
  • Prices are subject to availability until the booking is confirmed.
  • Failure to make payments within the specified timeline may result in automatic cancellation without prior notice.
  • Any price revision by airlines, hotels, transport providers, cruise operators or government authorities before final confirmation shall be payable by the customer.
  • Payments made through online gateways, bank transfer, UPI or other approved payment methods will be considered valid only after successful realization.

Price may change at the time of booking as it is updated and managed by hotel and Airline only. Rooms and rates are subject to availability at the time of booking. This is not a live inventory, and room availability will be confirmed at the time of booking only. Prices are subject to change due to variations in airfare, taxes, fuel surcharges, or exchange rates. Any resulting difference must be settled before departure. Rates and offers remain subject to change until full payment is received. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, baggage loss, and repatriation. Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure. The itinerary may be modified due to weather, operational issues, or local conditions. No refunds are available for missed or unused services caused by circumstances beyond control. Hotels provided will be of the same or similar category as mentioned in the itinerary. Standard check-in: 4 PM | Check-out: 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out depends on availability and may incur extra cost. Guaranteed early check-in is charged at one night’s room rate. If group strength is low, the tour may be merged with a similar group without compromising inclusions. Group reshuffling may occur for smooth tour operations. Alternate sightseeing will be arranged if any attraction is closed. Packed dinners may be provided during delays or due to local driving regulations. Due to coach storage limitations, only one check-in bag and one hand bag per person is allowed. Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended to cover medical emergencies, trip cancellations, baggage loss, and repatriation. Proof of insurance may be requested prior to departure. 4. Passport & Visa Requirements Guests are responsible for holding a valid passport and obtaining the necessary visas. Passports must be valid for at least six months after the return date. Visa fees are non-refundable. GD Holidays is not liable for visa rejections, entry denials, or delays by immigration authorities. The itinerary may be modified due to weather, operational issues, or local conditions. No refunds are available for missed or unused services caused by circumstances beyond control. Up to two-stop international flights may be provided from DEL, BOM, BLR, AMD, HYD, MAA, and CCU, subject to flight availability All flight details are tentative and subject to change. Multiple airlines may be used depending on availability with layovers of up to 8 hours. Baggage allowance follows airline policy. Excess baggage charges apply as per airline rules. Hotels provided will be of the same or similar category as mentioned in the itinerary. Standard check-in: 4 PM | Check-out: 11 AM. Early check-in or late check-out depends on availability and may incur extra cost. Guaranteed early check-in is charged at one night’s room rate. The tour will operate only with a minimum of 8 to 12 passengers. If group strength is low, the tour may be merged with a similar group without compromising inclusions. Group reshuffling may occur for smooth tour operations. Alternate sightseeing will be arranged if any attraction is closed. Packed dinners may be provided during delays or due to local driving regulations. Due to coach storage limitations, only one check-in bag and one hand bag per person is allowed. In case of non-compliance thereto by the client, the company reserves a right to cancel the tour /booking of the client and forfeit the amount already deposited with the Company. :- Package prices are subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation. :- Hotels, flights, sightseeing, transportation and other services are subject to availability. :- Hotel check-in/check-out timings shall be as per hotel policy. :- Standard room category will be provided unless otherwise specified. :- Similar category hotels may be provided in case of operational reasons or non-availability. :- The sequence of sightseeing or itinerary may be changed due to operational requirements without affecting the overall tour experience. :- GD Holidays reserves the right to modify hotels, transport, itinerary or services due to operational requirements, weather conditions, government regulations or circumstances beyond its control. :- Travelers must carry valid travel documents including passport, visa, government-issued identity proof and any permits required for the destination. :- Customers are responsible for verifying passport validity, visa requirements and travel documentation before departure. :- Any additional expenses arising due to natural disasters, adverse weather, political disturbances, strikes, pandemics, flight delays/cancellations, road closures or other force majeure events shall be borne by the traveler. :- GD Holidays shall not be responsible for any loss, theft, damage to personal belongings, injury, accident, illness, delay or inconvenience caused by third-party service providers or circumstances beyond reasonable control. :- Customers are expected to comply with the rules and regulations of airlines, hotels, cruise operators, transport providers and local authorities during the tour. :- Any request for special services such as adjoining rooms, smoking/non-smoking rooms, special meals or early check-in is subject to availability and confirmation by the respective service provider. :- By confirming the booking, the traveler acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted all applicable booking terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

  • At GD Holidays, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our resort partners.

    1. Cancellation Request

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via Email or WhatsApp from the registered contact details used at the time of booking.

  • The date on which GD Holidays receives the written cancellation request will be considered the official cancellation date.

    2. Cancellation Charges

  • The following cancellation charges will apply on the total package cost:

    NOTE : INR 4500/- Per Person GD Holidays Service Charge will be deducted if booking cancelled at any point of time irrespective of above cancellation charges.

  • Note: Some hotels, airlines, cruise companies, visas, permits, event tickets, attractions, and special promotional bookings may have separate cancellation rules. In such cases, the supplier's cancellation policy will apply in addition to the above charges.

    3. Non-Refundable Services

  • The following are generally non-refundable once booked or confirmed:

  • Visa Fees
  • Travel Insurance
  • Cruise Bookings
  • Train Tickets (as per railway rules)
  • Attraction Tickets
  • Theme Park Tickets
  • Special Event Tickets
  • Peak Season / Festival / Promotional Offers

  • Any service specifically mentioned as Non-Refundable at the time of booking

    4. Amendment / Rescheduling

  • Any request for date change, destination change, hotel change, passenger name correction, or other modifications is subject to availability and approval by the respective service providers.

  • Additional charges and fare differences may apply.

    5. Force Majeure

  • GD Holidays shall not be held responsible for cancellations, delays, changes, or additional expenses caused due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Earthquakes
  • Heavy snowfall
  • Political unrest
  • War
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemic or epidemic
  • Airline operational issues
  • Flight cancellations
  • Strikes
  • Weather conditions
  • Acts of God

  • In such cases, refunds or credits (if any) will depend entirely on the policies of the respective service providers.

    6. Important Note

  • GD Holidays acts as a travel service facilitator and booking partner. Hotels, airlines, transport operators, cruise companies, and other service providers have their own terms and cancellation policies. Customers agree to abide by those policies at the time of booking.
  • By confirming a booking with GD Holidays, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Cancellation Policy.

Refund Policy

  • Cancellation charges shall be applicable as per the policies of the respective airlines, hotels, cruise lines, transport providers, destination management companies and other service providers involved in the booking.
  • The exact cancellation amount depends on the stage of cancellation and the supplier's applicable rules at that time.
  • Any non-refundable bookings, promotional offers, special fares, visa fees, insurance charges, convenience fees, processing charges or service charges are generally non-refundable.
  • Refunds, wherever applicable, will be processed only after receiving the refundable amount from the respective service providers.
  • The refund processing time generally depends on the concerned supplier and banking channels.
  • No refund shall be applicable for unused services, no-shows, late arrivals, early departures or voluntary changes after travel has commenced.
  • GD Holidays acts as a booking facilitator and shall process refunds strictly based on the refund received from the respective suppliers, after deducting any applicable service or processing charges (if any).
