Day-wise Itinerary

Day 01: Arrival at Cochin – Transfer to Munnar (Approx. 130 KM | 4–5 Hrs)

Meals: Breakfast: No | Overnight Stay: Munnar

Upon your arrival at Cochin International Airport/Railway Station, you will be warmly welcomed by our representative. After a brief introduction, begin your scenic drive towards Munnar, one of Kerala's most beautiful hill stations.

En route, enjoy the breathtaking beauty of the Western Ghats and stop at:

  • Cheeyappara Waterfalls
  • Valara Waterfalls
  • Tea Gardens & Tea Plantations
  • Spice Plantation (Optional Visit)
  • Beautiful Mountain View Points

Continue your drive through winding roads surrounded by lush green tea estates.

Upon arrival in Munnar, complete the hotel check-in formalities and relax.

Evening: Free for leisure. You may explore the nearby local market or enjoy the pleasant weather.

Overnight Stay: Abad Copper Castle, Munnar.

Day 02: Full Day Munnar Sightseeing

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight Stay: Munnar

After breakfast, proceed for a full-day sightseeing tour of Munnar.

Visit:

  • Eravikulam National Park (Rajamalai) (Subject to availability)
  • Tea Museum
  • Rose Garden
  • Photo Point
  • Mattupetty Dam
  • Echo Point
  • Kundala Lake
  • Blossom Hydel Park
  • Top Station (Time permitting)

Enjoy panoramic views of mist-covered mountains, tea plantations, and valleys.

Return to the hotel in the evening.

Overnight Stay: Abad Copper Castle, Munnar.

Day 03: Munnar – Thekkady (Approx. 90 KM | 3 Hrs)

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight Stay: Thekkady

After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Thekkady, famous for wildlife and spice plantations.

Upon arrival, check in to your hotel.

Later visit:

  • Periyar Wildlife Sanctuary
  • Periyar Lake
  • Spice Plantation Tour
  • Local Spice Market

Optional Activities:

  • Boating at Periyar Lake
  • Kathakali Cultural Show

Return to the hotel.

Overnight Stay: Abad Green Forest, Thekkady.

Day 04: Thekkady – Kumarakom (Approx. 125 KM | 4 Hrs)

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight Stay: Kumarakom

After breakfast, drive towards the peaceful backwater destination of Kumarakom.

Upon arrival, check into your resort.

Later explore:

  • Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary
  • Vembanad Lake
  • Beautiful Village Backwaters
  • Sunset View Points

You may also enjoy an optional sunset cruise on Vembanad Lake.

Spend the evening relaxing amidst nature.

Overnight Stay: Abad Whispering Palms, Kumarakom.

Day 05: Kumarakom – Kovalam (Approx. 175 KM | 5 Hrs)

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight Stay: Kovalam

After breakfast, proceed towards the famous beach destination Kovalam.

Check-in at the hotel and relax.

Later visit:

  • Lighthouse Beach
  • Hawa Beach
  • Samudra Beach
  • Vizhinjam Fishing Harbour
  • Local Shopping Market

Enjoy a beautiful sunset by the Arabian Sea.

Overnight Stay: Abad Harmonia, Kovalam.

Day 06: Excursion to Kanyakumari – Return to Kovalam (Approx. 90 KM | 2 Hrs (One Way))

Meals: Breakfast | Overnight Stay: Kovalam

After an early breakfast, enjoy a full-day excursion to Kanyakumari, the southernmost tip of mainland India.

Visit:

  • Vivekananda Rock Memorial
  • Thiruvalluvar Statue
  • Kanyakumari Temple
  • Gandhi Memorial
  • Triveni Sangam
  • Sunset View Point (subject to timing)

After sightseeing, drive back to Kovalam.

Overnight Stay: Abad Harmonia, Kovalam.

Day 07: Kovalam – Trivandrum Departure (Approx. 20 KM | 30–40 Min)

Meals: Breakfast

After breakfast, check out from the hotel.

If time permits before your departure, visit:

  • Padmanabhaswamy Temple (Outside View/As per Darshan Timings)
  • Napier Museum (Closed on Mondays)
  • Shanghumugham Beach

Later, transfer to Trivandrum Airport/Railway Station for your onward journey with wonderful memories of Kerala.

Tour Ends with Sweet Memories.

  • Cost of pre or post tour hotel accommodation.
  • Any extra expense such as route change, Airline change, Date change, Accommodation facilities, etc incurred due to the unforeseen, unavoidable forced majeure circumstances during the tour.
  • Porterage, laundry, telephone charges, shopping, wines & alcoholic beverages, items of personal nature and food or drink which is not part of a set group menu.
  • Any extra cost incurred on behalf of an individual due to illness, accident, hospitalization, or any personal emergency.
  • Any services or activity charges other than those included in the group tour itinerary.
  • In case a passenger is opting for direct joining, the cost for airport transfers shall be borne directly by the passenger and will join the group at the hotel.

Payment Terms

  • A booking is considered confirmed only after receipt of the required advance payment.
  • The balance payment must be completed before the due date communicated by GD Holidays.
  • For bookings involving flights, cruises, visas, special events or peak season travel, higher advance payment or full payment may be required at the time of booking.
  • Prices are subject to availability until the booking is confirmed.
  • Failure to make payments within the specified timeline may result in automatic cancellation without prior notice.
  • Any price revision by airlines, hotels, transport providers, cruise operators or government authorities before final confirmation shall be payable by the customer.
  • Payments made through online gateways, bank transfer, UPI or other approved payment methods will be considered valid only after successful realization

DOCUMENTS: The valid documents you need to carry along with you for your vacations i.e., any one of these - voters-ID, passport NOTE: Pan Card & Aadhar Card is not accepted as a valid ID All Trips are subjected to weather conditions Rates are valid for INDIAN NATIONALS only :- Package prices are subject to availability at the time of booking confirmation. :- Hotels, flights, sightseeing, transportation and other services are subject to availability. :- Hotel check-in/check-out timings shall be as per hotel policy. :- Standard room category will be provided unless otherwise specified. :- Similar category hotels may be provided in case of operational reasons or non-availability. :- The sequence of sightseeing or itinerary may be changed due to operational requirements without affecting the overall tour experience. :- GD Holidays reserves the right to modify hotels, transport, itinerary or services due to operational requirements, weather conditions, government regulations or circumstances beyond its control. :- Travelers must carry valid travel documents including passport, visa, government-issued identity proof and any permits required for the destination. :- Customers are responsible for verifying passport validity, visa requirements and travel documentation before departure. :- Any additional expenses arising due to natural disasters, adverse weather, political disturbances, strikes, pandemics, flight delays/cancellations, road closures or other force majeure events shall be borne by the traveler. :- GD Holidays shall not be responsible for any loss, theft, damage to personal belongings, injury, accident, illness, delay or inconvenience caused by third-party service providers or circumstances beyond reasonable control. :- Customers are expected to comply with the rules and regulations of airlines, hotels, cruise operators, transport providers and local authorities during the tour. :- Any request for special services such as adjoining rooms, smoking/non-smoking rooms, special meals or early check-in is subject to availability and confirmation by the respective service provider. :- By confirming the booking, the traveler acknowledges that they have read, understood and accepted all applicable booking terms and conditions.

Cancellation Policy

  • At GD Holidays, we understand that travel plans may change due to unforeseen circumstances. Our cancellation policy is designed to be fair to both our customers and our resort partners.

    1. Cancellation Request

  • All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing via Email or WhatsApp from the registered contact details used at the time of booking.

  • The date on which GD Holidays receives the written cancellation request will be considered the official cancellation date.

    2. Cancellation Charges

  • The following cancellation charges will apply on the total package cost:
  • Cancellation Before DepartureCancellation Charges
    30 Days or more30% of Total Package Cost
    30 Days or less100% of Total Package Cost
    NOTE : INR 4500/- Per Person GD Holidays Service Charge will be deducted if booking cancelled at any point of time irrespective of above cancellation charges.

  • Note: Some hotels, airlines, cruise companies, visas, permits, event tickets, attractions, and special promotional bookings may have separate cancellation rules. In such cases, the supplier's cancellation policy will apply in addition to the above charges.

    3. Non-Refundable Services

  • The following are generally non-refundable once booked or confirmed:
  • Flight Tickets
  • Visa Fees
  • Travel Insurance
  • Cruise Bookings
  • Train Tickets (as per railway rules)
  • Attraction Tickets
  • Theme Park Tickets
  • Special Event Tickets
  • Peak Season / Festival / Promotional Offers

  • Any service specifically mentioned as Non-Refundable at the time of booking

    4. Amendment / Rescheduling

  • Any request for date change, destination change, hotel change, passenger name correction, or other modifications is subject to availability and approval by the respective service providers.

  • Additional charges and fare differences may apply.

    5. Force Majeure

  • GD Holidays shall not be held responsible for cancellations, delays, changes, or additional expenses caused due to circumstances beyond our control, including but not limited to:
  • Natural disasters
  • Floods
  • Earthquakes
  • Heavy snowfall
  • Political unrest
  • War
  • Government restrictions
  • Pandemic or epidemic
  • Airline operational issues
  • Flight cancellations
  • Strikes
  • Weather conditions
  • Acts of God

  • In such cases, refunds or credits (if any) will depend entirely on the policies of the respective service providers.

    6. Important Note

  • GD Holidays acts as a travel service facilitator and booking partner. Hotels, airlines, transport operators, cruise companies, and other service providers have their own terms and cancellation policies. Customers agree to abide by those policies at the time of booking.
  • By confirming a booking with GD Holidays, the customer acknowledges that they have read, understood, and accepted this Cancellation Policy.

Refund Policy

  • Cancellation charges shall be applicable as per the policies of the respective airlines, hotels, cruise lines, transport providers, destination management companies and other service providers involved in the booking.
  • The exact cancellation amount depends on the stage of cancellation and the supplier's applicable rules at that time.
  • Any non-refundable bookings, promotional offers, special fares, visa fees, insurance charges, convenience fees, processing charges or service charges are generally non-refundable.
  • Refunds, wherever applicable, will be processed only after receiving the refundable amount from the respective service providers.
  • The refund processing time generally depends on the concerned supplier and banking channels.
  • No refund shall be applicable for unused services, no-shows, late arrivals, early departures or voluntary changes after travel has commenced.
  • GD Holidays acts as a booking facilitator and shall process refunds strictly based on the refund received from the respective suppliers, after deducting any applicable service or processing charges (if any).
